Co-hosted with the Monmouth Real Estate Club, the Kislak Real Estate Institute at Monmouth University invites you to our annual lecture, with this year's topic “Commuting in New Jersey." Not only does this topic impact commercial real estate but is a major quality-of-life issue, and impacts public safety, workforce opportunities and macro- and micro-economic and other issues throughout New Jersey. We are focused on forward-looking micro-solutions to commercial real estate issues in the New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania areas.

Our guest speaker is Kris Kolluri, the President & CEO of NJ TRANSIT and the Executive Director of the New Jersey Turnpike Authority.

Proposed topics include:
• Inducements to reduce single driver activity – i.e., car pools
• Inducements to reduce congestion on particular exits which backfill onto major roadways - flex time
• New alternatives to transportation – i.e., ferries / skip-stop buses between rest stop commuter lots
• “The last mile” solutions for business parks and reverse commuters
