Hosted by Assistant Professor, Jake Yuzna - this info session will introduce undergraduate students to the brand new 15 credit minor. From Peter Pan to Black Panther, Stranger Things to Japanese anime, Freddy Krueger and the Lord of the Rings, science fiction, fantasy, and horror filmmaking has been an integral force in the history of cinema and representation in popular culture. Monmouth University’s new and first-of-its-kind minor in science-fiction, fantasy, and horror filmmaking gives students the chance to explore these pioneering genres of filmmaking. Open to all Monmouth University students, no matter your major or previous experience in filmmaking.
